Our Colchester campus based at Turner Road provides both specialist and alternative provision placements.
Our alternative provision is for twenty pupils in Key stage one or two. These pupils may come to us following a permanent exclusion or as a request for support from a school in North East Essex. We work closely with Essex County Council Education Access team and the SEND Operations team with the aim of providing education for the right pupils at the right time.
Our alternative provision pupils are supported to either reintegrate to their current school or a new mainstream school or if they have an EHCP possibly into a specialist placement. Our specialist provision is for six pupils in Key stage two or three. These pupils have EHCPs and require a small, nurturing provision to help them overcome the challenges they have previously faced around school attendance, anxiety, social, emotional and mental health needs. These placements can only be accessed through applications made by the SEND Operations team.

We work closely with Essex County Council Education Access team and the SEND Operations team with the aim of providing education for the right pupils at the right time. Our alternative provision pupils are supported to either reintegrate to their current school or a new mainstream school or if they have an EHCP possibly into a specialist placement.
Our Clacton campus based at Jaywick Lane is a specialist provision for four pupils with complex needs. These pupils have EHCPs usually for social, emotional and mental health needs.These placements can only be accessed through applications made by the SEND Operations team.
